Rice County's annual Skywarn training class will be on Thursday, March 26th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Buckham West center, 19 Division St W, Faribault, MN.

Basics of thunderstorm development
Fundamentals of storm structure
Identifying potential severe weather features
How to report information
Basic severe weather safety

Le Sueur County Emergency Management will be hosting Skywarn training on Monday, March 30th at 6:30 p.m. at the Le Sueur County Justice Center (lower level in the EOC), 435 E Derrynane, Le Center, MN 56057. Please use West Entrance (doors will be open from 6pm-7pm). Please register by e-mailing Tammy Stewig, Emergency Management Director at tammy.stewig@lesueurcounty.gov. Registration is highly recommended as seating is limited.

The National Weather Service-La Crosse office is offering three virtual spotter training opportunities:
Monday, March 23rd: 6-8pm
Wednesday, April 15th: 1-3pm
Tuesday, April 28th: 6-8pm
