Training
Skywarn training for 2025 has been finalized!
Grab your calendars and make plans now to attend one of four Skywarn Storm Spotter Training Classes this spring. The public is encouraged to become trained reporting to the National Weather Service on any severe weather observations. The certification lasts for two years, but we recommend refreshing annually to keep those weather watcher skills honed. No cost, no tests, just show up to learn more about the dynamic summer thunderstorm environment and how it can sometimes turn dangerous.
